“We are women serving God and each other by welcoming all who come; interacting, supporting and deepening our spirituality together through prayer and fellowship. We will strive to follow the example of Mary, our Virgin Mother, drawing people closer to her son, Jesus.”
Introduction
The parish women’s ministry developed out of a need for all women to feel welcome to a place of faith-sharing and fellowship. Sandy Flynn conceptualized hosting a monthly gathering in a pleasant environment. We meet on the 2nd Saturday each month in the upper level parish hall. Women are welcome to bring friends; (some bring daughters or granddaughters). There are no membership rules or dues. We invite women to give us their contact information only. We sustain our expenses by way of free-will donations at each meeting. Each month a speaker is invited to present topics relevant to faith development and/or community building. There is always an atmosphere fostering discussion. We strongly advocate Gospel values in building the community of heaven. Brunch is served. Please feel welcome to stop in on the 2nd Saturday each month at 10 am; or contact Sandy Flynn 949-378-6749 or Peggy O’Donnell 949-500-0826 for more information.
