The Sewing Group, sponsored by the Council of Catholic Women, makes clothing for children, baby layettes, knitted sweaters and quilts. These items are donated to various charitable organizations such as Obria Medical Clinics (formerly Birth Choice), Orangewood Children and Family Center (the orphanage). In addition, we provide items for the Veterans Administration and to the Darkhorse 3/5 Marine Battalion. This ministry gives you a great way to share your skill and have fun at the same time socializing with other members of Saint Nicholas Church. The Saint Nicholas Sewing Group meets Monday - 8:00 am to 12 noon in the Small Hall.
In addition to needing your great skills at sewing, knitting and crocheting, we appreciate donations of yarn, cloth, thread and any other sewing materials. If you are not able to attend, you may leave the donations at the Parish Office. For more information, contact the Sewing Coordinator at Parish Office 949.837-1090.
Come meet the members of the Sewing Ministry!
