Dear Parishioners,
With this Divine Mercy Sunday Message we see where we once again are given the peace of Christ and are called to be witnesses of that peace to all the world.
Fr. George P. Blais
Thank you to all who donated flowers and helped decorate our church for this Easter Season.

St Nicholas Parish has been blessed by the employment of two long time members of our staff who have announced their upcoming retirements. They will both be greatly missed because of their dedicated service to our parish.
Gwen Weiser, our Director of the SRE and long time Youth Minister has recently purchased a home out of state and will be moving by the middle of April. She has been employed here for 33 years and with her husband Chuck have been a great asset to our parish. Along with her employment, she and Chuck have contributed countless hours of volunteer ministry and coordinated many social gatherings.
Steve Burton who has been our Facility Manager for 45 years has also announced his retirement and will be here until we are able to train his replacement. Steve will be missed because of his knowledge and dedication to keeping St. Nicholas clean, beautiful, and well maintained.
Due to the pandemic, we are unable to have a proper celebration honoring them; however, I encourage anyone who sees them in the coming weeks to wish them well as they begin new paths in their lives.
Go forth, good and faithful servants.

The staff and catechists are grateful for your cooperation this past year – it is a privilege for us to teach your child(ren) and get to know them. Registration forms will be mailed out to all families at the end of May and we encourage you to re-register your student(s) so that they may continue their religious education – there is so much for them to learn and celebrate as a community of faith! We look forward to seeing the students in the fall when the 2021-2022 SRE school year begins.
As we enter Holy Week and prepare to celebrate Easter, we pray that the gift of our Lord’s love surrounds you and your loved ones and we wish you a Blessed and Happy Easter!
Please note that there will be NO classes on Monday and Tuesday, April 5 and 6th.
If you have any questions, please contact the SRE Office, 949-837-7676.

Dear Parishioners,
We are beginning a new year of the Pastoral Services Appeal. This year our parish assessment remains the same as last year, which is $113,000. A new program that has been added to this year’s PSA is funding of the Priest Pension Fund for our Diocesan Priests. This will save our parish $11,000 from our annual budget so it is like a decrease in our assessment. Last year our parish contributed $128,000.00 to the PSA and the parish received $15,000.00 in rebates.
We are putting the final touches on our Small Hall refurbishing and this project which was funded by rebates from the last two years will be complete by the end of March. We wanted to complete this project while no groups were able to utilize the building. It will be ready for use once we get the go-ahead to resume indoor gatherings.
Thank you to all who have participated in the PSA in the past and I invite and strongly encourage all to participate in this year’s appeal. Letters from the Diocese have been mailed to past supporters of the PSA. These letters explain this year’s appeal.
Included to the right is a Link to the Diocese video presentation for this year’s appeal.
Thank you in advance for participating in this appeal and remember that every dollar above our assessment will be returned to the parish. Due to the continued pandemic and financial uncertainty, we will use our rebates to help balance our budget.
Please make your pledge online by using the PSA link below or fill out a Pledge Card that can be found in the church. Return the Pledge Card in the collect basket, drop it off at the Parish Office or mail it to the return address shown on the card.
Thank you for your continued support of the PSA and our parish.

Dear Parishioners,
We continue with indoor Masses but with 50% capacity. Please enter through the main doors at the front of the church and exit through the doors in the transepts leading to the large and small parking lots. Remember to wear masks, keep physical distance from those not living in your house, use the automatic hand sanitizers provided at each entrance and remember to keep safe for the common good.
In order to facilitate a 50% capacity, we have added an 11:00 A.M. Mass on Sunday. Our new weekend Mass schedule is; Saturday 4:00 P.M. Vigil in English, 6:00 P.M. Spanish Mass, Sunday 7:30, 9:00, & 11:00 A.M. English and 4:00 P.M. Vietnamese.
In addition, we will continue having a 9:00am weekday mass. Confessions will resume at 5:00pm Wednesday and 9:00am Saturday at the Large Hall.
Please assist us in sanitizing the pews by not leaving anything behind in the pews.
Thanks you,
Fr. George P. Blais
